MASSAGE THERAPY PHILOSOPHY
Hi, my name is Cache Carpenter! I’m originally from the Big Island of Hawaii and now call the beautiful Sunshine Coast home. I am very passionate about surfing, health and travel. I thrive when helping others and enjoy giving back to organizations such as Surfers Healing. My past struggles after a traumatic surfing injury sparked my interest in how the human body adapts and heals with touch. I feel honored to be able to help others with the oldest traditional modality of healing, touch, and remedial massage.
My massage studio is nestled where the forest of Mount Coolum National Park meets the coastline of Coolum. It is truly a slice of heaven. My studio represents my love of the ocean with a coastal/beach vibe throughout. I will always greet you and check with you on how your physical and emotional self is doing prior to starting treatment.
I believe my remedial massage treatments are effective and unique because I am able to adapt my style to different clinical situations and client expectations. I believe in open communication therefore encourage my clients to express how they are feeling throughout treatment if they choose to do so (don’t worry, I will let you sleep!). I offer a variety of techniques such as myofascial release, trigger-point therapy, Swedish relaxation, deep tissue, myofasical cupping, lymphatic drainage, pregnancy massage, complex stretching protocols and muscle energy techniques.
MAINTAIN YOUR BODY, YOUR HEALTH, YOUR LIFE
Smooth and gentle flowing treatment that promotes relaxation, decreases muscular tension, and improves circulation. Various techniques such as flowing strokes and kneading are used with light to medium pressure. This is most commonly known as Swedish massage.
Modality that incorporates numerous techniques and skills to locate and treat musculoskeletal imbalances and chronic/acute pain. Various techniques such as trigger pointing, myofascial release, stretching and muscle energy techniques are used.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Stronger, deeper treatment used to target stubborn knots and connective tissue. Excellent treatment for those who suffer chronic tightness, scar tissue formation, repetitive strain and sport injuries.
Ancient Chinese therapy using cups to pull an area of skin into suction for decompression of muscles and connective tissue. This promoted blood flow to the area, improved circulation and helps increase the body's healing processes.
